BRCORP Hyderabad office inauguration

Message by Prof. D. Venkat Reddy, President & CEO, BRCORP 

Professor Jammi Srinivasa Rao, President Emeritus, BRCORP inaugurated the Hyderabad office on 29th December 2017 at L B Nagar, Telangana in presence of Dr. Raju Aedla, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dr. R. Hafeez Basha, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Mrs. Nafeesa Parveen, Chief HR & Finance Officer (CHRFO). Also present were Mr. Erra Harsha Vardhan, Research Director at BRCORP who works closely with Embassy of France in India; Mr. Mohd. Niyazuddin, Vice President, BRCORP-Singapore, Ms. Paz Bascuñán, Chile, South America who volunteers as Catalyst at Kanthari Foundation & Mr. Lingala Naresh, Founder of Tharunam & Kanthari Fellow.

Prof. Jammi Srinivasa Rao was BHEL Chair Professor at Indian Institute of technology (IIT-Delhi) and later Science Counsellor at Indian Embassy in USA. He earlier served the board of GMR Energy as its Director and held key positions including Chief Technology Officer at Singapore based QuEST Global Services Pte. Ltd., Chief Science Officer at Altair Engineering Inc., and President & CEO, BRCORP (2012-2017) and continue to serve the Board of BRCORP as its President Emeritus.

During the inauguration speech he spoke about Simulation Based Engineering Science (SBES) becoming popular in all engineering disciplines in the current day design practices across all branches. He also mentioned that the Hyderabad facility of BRCORP will focus on providing services to science and engineering colleges especially for its faculty and students.

Dr. Raju Aedla introduced the academic conferences organized by BRCORP at various locations across the world and research journal publications. Dr. Hafeez Basha presented some of the modules designed for placement training for students looking for jobs, programs for higher education abroad, and technology incubation support for start-ups and budding entrepreneurs. Ms. Paz Bascuñán spoke about Social Entrepreneurship and opportunities for students.

The company selected six bright students Mamatha Dheeravath, Poojitha Penumacha, Ramya Saini, Rani Bololla, Sashi Rekha Kadiri, and Sravanthi Mailaram from B. V. Raju Institute of Technology, Hyderabad for six months internship which will lead to recruitment after graduation.
